Our SF cable channels find application in a variety of industries. They offer protection not only for electrical cables, but also pipes conveying liquids or gases. Traffic classes B125 and D400 are available as a standard. The SF cover plates are equipped with a bevelled edge as a standard. A steel angled section is optionally possible with various types. All SF cable channels are resistant to road salt!
For lesser stress loads the insertion of a bitumen strip or strip of Compriband between the mating surfaces of the channels and covers is recommended. In case the covers are exposed to traffic stress, the application of ca. 1 cm of mortar at the top of the channel is recommended. The mortar can simply be covered with a PVC sheet to keep it from sticking to the covert. Some cover plates come ready equipped with a cast-in, sand-filled rubber profile for force distribution. This renders additional mortar superfluous.
