Our flush-mounted drainage channels are made from strongly reinforced B45 quality concrete and hence particularly suitable for areas experiencing heavy (D400) to very heavy (F900) stress loads. Examples would include industrial areas featuring freight and forklift traffic, airports, barracks, farming operations, etc. The design of the flush-mounted channels ensures that they can be installed without permanent formwork, i. e. the channel elements are always self-supporting.
The reinforced concrete channel CF is the strongest type of its kind with standard-compliant, cast-in galvanized angle irons in the middle rail and metal pins between these angle sections. The cast-in reinforcement and high concrete quality provide for a crack-proof reinforced channel that is completely resistant to high dynamic stress loads (F900). The flush-mounted channels need to be moved with the attendant lifting equipment and need to be connected to a sand trap, normally with a cast-iron hinged D400 or F900 cover in a cast-iron frame.
The sand-trap can also, if required, be mounted on a lower reservoir. Both the sand trap and the lower reservoir need to be equipped with PVC wall bushings. Lower reservoirs are provided in locations where an enlarged sand trap is desired. The sand traps can be equipped with laterally projecting supports holding the channel elements during installation, making it easier to set up the flush-mounted channels.
